Welcome to the blog of the Samuel H. and Marian K. Barker Family Health Technology Building. The purpose of this blog is to give you a visual journey of the construction of the Health Building from start to finish. I’m hoping to showcase a new image at least once a week, perhaps more! The new Samuel H. and Marian K. Barker Family Health Technology Building is scheduled to be completed in April 2011. This state-of-the-art, 88,000-square-foot building will double the our capacity for training and job placement for the our 12 health care occupations’ programs. Right now we can serve about 600 health care students. This will also be the first new instructional building on campus in 15 years.
