Wow, is it quiet in there now! There's really not too much left to do at this point, other than move all the health stuff from the business building over to the new building. That's why most of the rooms are just sitting empty right now. There are still things going on in there, but a lot of the work has now moved outside to finish up the terraces and landscaping.
Week of April 11–15, 2011

The dental assisting area has a lot to install! But it’s coming along quickly.
The wood paneling is finished on the wall in the main lobby.
There’s some new attractive lighting in the main hallways on the bottom floor.
You have to keep people out from under the stairs somehow…..

Week of April 4–8, 2011

Most (if not all) of the terrazzo flooring is done now.
All of the upper floor seems to be done as well.
There are still a number of areas without carpet, but it’s getting close.
I took the liberty of stepping up to the roof while the hatch was open. I wanted to see these nice, new solar panels up close and personal!
On a side note, many of you have probably seen that they’ve started work on the stream that will run through the middle of campus.
We’ll see how it progresses over the next few weeks.

I wasn’t able to get to many of the rooms today because of floor work, so that’s why I’m showcasing one of the upstairs restrooms!
The building is SPACY! It amazes me how large some of their equipment is that they can get inside!

A lot of the lights are in and actually turned on this week! That allowed me to grab a few pictures of some places that were usually too dark. And many of the rooms sure are looking more like classrooms now!

They had to cover up much of the main terrazzo floor so that the finished work doesn’t get ruined.

The floor is looking great. It’s not done. It only looks this nice right now because it’s wet. But I’d imagine it will look very similar when it’s finished.

I didn't have access to a lot the building this week. Many rooms are sealed off due to painting and other work. But I still managed to get a few new pictures!

The rooms really start to look nice with furniture in them, especially with such warm, vibrant colors!
