The program has had two industry level presentations to student in the past week..  October 13 we held Blaser Swisslube Brett Reynolds (Sales Engineer) and October 19 we had ISCAR Chad Jenkins (Sales & Applications) give our student a 1 hour industry presentation on technologies for there companies.  Thank you to them for their outstanding presentations for our students.

Today we went to RedMan Salt Mine tour in the morning , had Faro Technology www.faro.com   show a different 3D gage for measurment..there low end cost was around $23,000.

Today we spend 6 hours in training to see the lastest upgrades for MasterCam X5 and Master 3D gage   www.master3dgage.com   really cool technology, alittle high price for education (I can almost purchase a new CNC machine).  We will be looking at a different one this week that is alot less money… Machining training in Richfield is solid…they have a nice shop..of course not as nice as ours..

Today is the start of the Precision Machining Contest..our students will be doing the manul Lathe and Mill today.. Lance is already in competion and Britney will do hers starting this afternoon.  It is a day we can not take pictures of them, however we may post some later of other activites that are going on.. 

  Students had machine issues at the contest…both of our students had the machine parts either missing form the equipment all together, or had parts fall off of the machine….they were both very stressed at the end of day one.

Today was Orientation Day…. First meetings
